The Evolution of Slice
The Evolution of Slice
Telecom Infra Project (TIP) organized a unique event called Slice that later evolved into what we know today as Fyuz, blending the cutting-edge world of telecom technology with the vibrant, cultural elements of food.
This innovative approach aimed to bring together industry leaders from telecom and tech, while creating an experience that extended beyond conventional networking events by adding a culinary dimension.
We have been working with TIP and Genius & Me for a number of years when they approached us to conceptualize and design the branding and event graphics that would bring this vision to life.
Challenges
The combination of telecom technology and food required a balance in the design language, where neither element would overshadow the other. We needed to create a brand identity that would resonate with professionals in the tech industry while also being approachable, energetic, and engaging. This called for an imaginative yet clear visual theme that would tie together two seemingly unrelated worlds.
Our Approach
We started by creating a versatile and modern branding framework that fused sleek, tech-forward elements with the vibrant and inviting aesthetic of culinary culture. The visual identity needed to reflect innovation, collaboration, and creativity, while remaining accessible and inviting.
For the event space, we designed a suite of graphics including banners, signage, booth displays, and digital screens. The design extended across both physical and digital platforms, ensuring that attendees experienced a cohesive theme throughout the venue. We integrated Paul’s custom illustrations that combined technical diagrams with whimsical food-related imagery. These were used across different touchpoints, from event invitations to stage backdrops, creating an immersive and engaging environment.
Outcome
The Slice (Fyuz) event was a great success, attracting a large audience from both the telecom and food sectors. Our branding and event graphics were instrumental in creating a visually cohesive and memorable experience, reinforcing the event’s unique positioning as a crossover between technology and culinary creativity.
The positive feedback from attendees and stakeholders underscored the success of the brand identity in capturing the essence of the Slice (Fyuz) event, leaving a lasting impression that bridged the gap between two distinct industries.
Through our work with TIP on Slice (Fyuz) , we showcased the power of thoughtful branding and design in enhancing the overall event experience. By uniting the distinct worlds of telecom and food, we helped TIP create an event that was not only informative but also engaging and enjoyable, setting a new standard for how technology-focused events can be presented.
