What is ‘Mobilegeddon’?
What is ‘Mobilegeddon’?
More than 50% of the world’s websites are viewed on mobile devices now rather than desktops, so Google think its only right that they ensure user’s get the best experience and search results. This means they will be actively penalising websites that are difficult to use on mobiles; whether the buttons are spaced too tightly, banner images take too long to load, or font sizes are too small. Although a few top ranking websites will suffer and drop a few pages – we think this is a good move as it gives user’s a far better browsing experience which is the way it should be. If you want to check whether your website is ‘Mobile Friendly’ just head on over to Google’s test site and it’ll tell you there and then.
