At Impulse, we were proud to have built the CladFire platform from the ground up — a system designed to make complex fire‑testing data genuinely accessible to the people who need it most.
Working closely with Design Fire Consultants (DFC) and the University of Edinburgh’s Fire Research Centre (EFRC), we transformed a highly technical research initiative into an intuitive digital experience that empowers fire‑safety professionals across the industry.
Our role was to architect and develop the online system that collects, displays, and compares the extensive laboratory data behind CladFire. From interactive material combinations to downloadable raw datasets, every feature was crafted to support evidence‑led decision‑making and clearer understanding of cladding fire behaviour.
Seeing DFC’s expertise and the University of Edinburgh’s research brought to life through a platform that elevates transparency and usability has been a standout project for our team — and one we’re excited to see shaping safer building practices.
